Fourth of July

And this is what we came home for, to spend Independence Day with our family, in the country we love most!  I think we look forward to this day as much as we do Christmas!

The fam watching the parade in front of the Big House:  Uncle Ry is making snowcones in the background
Cute baby Noah loved the Otter Pops thrown from the floats
I think the older boys enjoyed the parade the most?
Yep

Nona & Jake

They had fun riding down the lane at Cedar Crest in wagons with Buck & Alex
Buck and Uncle Alex "having fun" pulling them back up!
We pitted cherries and made some beautiful pies together
Too much
 fun?
I think fireworks were banned due to many forest fires...but Ry lit off some "little ones" with the little ones!

Fourth of July Highlights:  Breakfast and carnival in the park,  taking old fashioned photos at the carnival, lovin' the fun parade through Main Street (and watching the kids collect bags full of candy and popsicles), eating snowcones while parade watching, and hanging out at Cedar Crest with everyone.  The best part, of course, was sharing it with Marni, Ryan, Amy, Lindsey, Vicki and their families...and Buck and Noni.  Oh yeah...and Noni rode the ride of rides at the carnival with Trooper and lived to tell us all about it.  Go, Noni!
