Ensuing days

The Ensuing days found us down in Mt. Pleasant with Mom and Dad. We hoped and hoped for a White Christmas in the country...and Mother Nature did not disappoint. Days 4 and 5 dumped so much snow on the Wasatch Mountains that we found ourselves nicely settled and snowed in to the Big House, with Mom & Dad for company. And on day 5 the Allreds joined our snow party, power outage and all. How lucky was that?

Lucky for us the Allred's didn't mind the power outage. We had such a good time cooking dinner over the stove, playing games and singing at the piano (power finally rejoined us), and snow-play the following day. Hooray for wonderful friends who would travel through snow and wind to find us in the boonies...good times!
