I'm not gonna lie: living in Turkey hasn't been easy in a lot of ways, one of them being that we don't see Ryan very much as he travels most weekdays. He has been gone most weekdays since January at least. When we do get him to ourselves, like we did for a week over the kids Spring Break, we are pretty much over the moon! This year we drove to Antalya for a week, where we explored the Meditteranean coast of Turkey. For the first four days we stayed in a little stone cottage in the village of Seki, far removed from the resort towns that dot the coast. We stayed in a beautiful little stone cottage surrounded by lovely gardens and fruit trees. The owners said we could pick as many oranges as we'd like while there.
Not sure why that sounded so fun to everyone, but almost as soon as we got there Ry and the kids made an assembly line and started gathering in the oranges.
Thys climbed the tree, and threw them to Jake.
Jake threw them to Ry, who threw them to Josie
Josie gathered them in a basket and took them into the kitchen
Mia and Ry started juicin' it up...using a hand juicer no less
The fruits of their labor was pretty tastey
The house where we stayed was really peaceful
The kids loved the pool
