For Christmas Eve dinner we love to eat Grandmas homemade chowder. Clams were scarce in Germany so Grams had to improvise with chicken. The troops were lining up!

Then we donned our Nativity costumes: behold, donkey (Cody) and lambey (Josie)
Ry and I were Mary and Joseph...Adalee as baby Jesus. For costumes we did a ton of improvising: tablecloths, bedding, pillow cases, cardboard boxes, Christmas decor and pots/pans from the kitchen...all came in handy

Cody did an awesome job of putting Jake and Josie down for us...I mean, winding them up for us. We all watched a sweet movie that Grandma brought, 'Christmas Oranges', and then off to bed for the littles!
