Nothing much beats the company of some of your favorite people. Factor in your favorite time of the year, one of your favorite spots on the map, and you've created one heavenly holiday...
We met Mom, Dad, Cody & Jess this Christmas in Switzerland
We spent our first day in the quaint little city of Lucerne.
We wandered the streets,
fed the swans,
and visited beautiful old bridges.
We had a good time
meandering along the old city ramparts
as well as ice skating that evening.
Lucerne at night is lovely.
The following day we journeyed up into the Alps,
taking a 3k tram up Mt. Pilatus.
Most opted to sled the 3k back downhill...a 2 hour sledding adventure I hope always stays fresh in their memories. We journeyed that night up into Germany for 7 more days of good family time together. Wahoo!
