Buck, Noni, Vicki & Emmett came to visit. What a party! Our favorite moments were: watching Summer Magic with the crowd, playing with Emmett, Value Village shopping with the girls, playing with Emmett, taking Mom & Dad to Thys' last basketball game of the season, playing with Emmett, and wandering down the streets of Snohomish together. Mia says that her very most favorite part was watching Aunt Vicki reenact the gazebo scene (in a gazebo in downtown Snohomish) from Sound of Music, where Leisel sings "You are 16 going on 17" and flies from bench to bench. We have it on video. Vicki, do I have permission to post? Jake liked playing "Go Fish" with Noni all weekend, and we all loved watching Buck play patti-cake with Emmett. Also got a kick out of garage saling with Noni (Mom); somehow she manages to make friends with everyone at a garage sale, and then leave with all this free stuff. My favorite part, though, is watching Buck (Dad's face) when she comes home with all of her treasures. Let me just say, he has mastered the eyeball roll.
